CALIBRATED HEAT TREATMENT GUIDELINES

NO HEAT:

This setting allows you to benefit from negative ion therapy and amethyst conduction without having to use far infrared rays at the same time.

Blue is 95-104˚F HEAT:

This Blue setting enables negative ion therapy plus gentle, broad-spectrum cooling. The setting is ideal for short-term to prolonged use as an aid to encourage deep relaxation. Blue is an ideal setting for people sensitive to heat.

Green is 113-122˚F HEAT:

This Green setting provides negative ion therapy plus subtle, warming far infrared ray penetration. This setting is ideal for encouraging regular relaxatio

Gold is 131-140˚F HEAT:

This Gold setting provides negative ion therapy plus deep-penetrating warmth to temporarily relieve minor muscle pain, minor joint pain and stiffness, joint pain associated with arthritis, muscle spasms, minor sprains, minor strains, minor muscular back pain; encourage relaxation and address stress and tension by relaxing muscles. This setting also encourages better circulation.

Red is 149-158˚F HEAT:

This Red setting offers maximum far-infrared sauna-like treatment. The high-heat settings are ideal for relieving minor muscle pain, minor joint pain and stiffness, joint pain associated with arthritis, muscle spasms, minor sprains, minor strains, minor muscular back pain; and relaxing muscles.

NOTE: Use the BioMat red setting for periods of 20 to 60 minutes, maximum.

The following feature is specific to Single Controllers for the Professional BioMat. When the temperature on the single controller is set anywhere between 122 F to 158 F – the controller will run for 3 hours at that selected temperature, then automatically, the temperature will gradually start to go down until it reaches 113 F. When the temperature selections of 95 F , or 104 F , or 113 F are selected with timer settings of 2 hr, 4 hr, 8 hr or 12 hr, the temperature and timer selection will stay as selected and will not automatically change or lower itself.
