Better health, longer life for your AND your pet

BioMat for PetsYour pet is helping to improve and extend your life—shouldn’t you return the favor?

For some time now, experts have been in agreement over the beneficial effects of pet ownership on human health. According to studies having a pet can help to lift mild to moderate depression, improve your sleep quality and improve your overall health. Your pet can also help to lower your blood pressure and boost immunity.

Since your pet does such a great job of taking care of you, it’s only fair that you should take their good health to heart. After all, you want to make sure that you and your pet enjoy many long years of happiness and companionship together!

Your BioMat can bring just as many benefits to your pet’s health as it has brought to yours, and it is completely safe to use with pets of all shapes and sizes. You don’t need to limit your pet’s use of the BioMat to those times when they are unwell: it can simply be used as a pleasant and relaxing experience to improve their overall health and vigor.

In fact, you may already have noticed that your pet is naturally attracted to the BioMat. They may automatically gravitate towards it, whether it’s on or off—you may have found yourself pushing them out of the way when you want to use it! You may also have discovered that your pet wants to lie next to you when you are using the BioMat for your own health treatments.

This is because pets enjoy the same sensation of soothing, healing warmth that you do from the BioMat’s far infrared rays and negative ions. They will experience the same short-term biological responses and long-term health gains, so don’t be afraid to make the BioMat a regular part of your pet’s health regimen.

BioMat treatments can be especially effective in managing pain for pets that suffer from arthritis, stiff joints, age-related stiffness and pain. It can also alleviate the symptoms of breathing difficulties and cardiovascular issues.

Simply turn the BioMat to the desired temperature and lay your pet on the mat. In those rare cases where a pet needs a bit of encouragement to try the mat, place their favorite toy or blanket on top of it to make the environment more welcoming and familiar. You can also try lying on the mat yourself to attract them. Once your pet has experienced the BioMat’s deep-penetrating warmth, they will associate those pleasurable sensations with the mat, and are likely to come running when you bring it out!

The BioMat Mini is the perfect size for use with pets, and if you already own a full-size BioMat, you and your pet can enjoy side-by-side treatments.

The important thing to remember is to keep the settings at the lower register when your pet is using the mat. Try the “green” setting at first, and if your pet has a positive response to the treatment, you can increase the temperature to the “yellow” setting. You can also keep the mat on the “no heat” setting if your pet wishes to lie on it for extended naps or overnight use.

Depending on your pet’s pre-existing health condition, you may see an instant transformation in their mobility and energy, or it may take a week of daily use before the effects become noticeable.

Vibrant health for you and your pet—the BioMat makes it happen!

Hi redcat,This soudlhn’t harm your cat, but it might make Snooker gain weight. It’s generally not recommended. I would recommend feeding Binky at set times of day in a separate room with a closed door to avoid this from happening. I’d also check out Snooker’s food to make sure that it is good quality. He might be lacking something in his diet or bored with his food. Please inquire further if you have more questions.DerrickMuddy Paws

Hi Yolanda,Most of this will depend on the type of sontes your dog has had. Every dog with bladder sontes needs a specific and tailored nutrition and medical plan .there is no one cookbook approach, so unfortunately I cannot give diet specifics or know what type of diet may or may not be appropriate without more medical information about your dog.I can give you a few general tips to help prevent recurrence of bladder sontes:The best medicine to help treat and prevent bladder sontes is to increase your dog’s daily water intake. When dogs drink more water they produce less concentrated (more dilute) urine. Dilute urine contains less concentrated minerals, mucus and other cells so crystals and sontes are less likely to develop. Dogs drinking more water also need to urinate more and this frequent urination removes minerals and other substances from the bladder, therefore decreasing the chance of stone development. If your dog has been trained to hold it throughout the day while you are at work consider getting a dog walker to allow your dog a few extra trips outdoors every day. Tips to increase water intake: feed only canned food, increase the frequency of feeding (dogs fed several times drink more than those fed only once daily), add additional water or broth to your dog’s food, try ice cubes to ice chips as treats, use unique water devices to stimulate your dog’s interest in drinking, ask your veterinarian about the addition of lite salt to your pet’s food to increase water intake (not right for every dog). Many bladder sontes form as a result of recurrent bladder infections (UTIs) and control of infection is a very important part of preventing stone recurrence.Talk to your veterinarian further about these things and ask for alternate diets that may or may not be okay for management of this condition. If you or your veterinarian would like an Internal Medicine consultation, feel free to contact me. Good luck hope this helps. Dr. Donna
